3 Easy Looks for the Office
There has been at least one occasion in the last 18 months that I’ve taken a work call in a bath robe…… and I know I’m not the only one. From the conversations I’ve had with other women, there seems to be a lot of anxiety around the idea of returning to a different work space other than your home office. They are concerned about being in close proximity to other people, getting dressed every day (which includes putting on make up and at least a spray of dry shampoo), or just getting back into a work morning routine that probably includes waking up earlier and a commute of some sort.
I can’t really help with the commute other than recommending good Audible books (which here is a highlight on Insta) but can help when it comes to what to wear. Below I’ve shared 3 easy looks that all have a “main” piece with accessories that will make it easy to get multiple wears out of. Enjoy!
Faux Suede Skirt from Loft
Try pairing a skirt with a blazer and ankle boots. I love this faux suede skirt from Loft paired with a patterned (Houndstooth) blazer. It is the perfect mix of work and play, plus it doubles as a coat in the cooler months.
Loft is 30% off right now with code NEED.
Pants from Target
Y’all LOVED these pants when I included them in a recent Target try on. They come in a variety of colors and prints and are kind of like wearing actual sweatpants, but they are work acceptable! They are $20, have functional pockets, and pair really well with just about anything. A sweater or turtleneck would look great for the office, a tucked in t-shirt with a loose fitting cardigan would look great for a more relaxed look.
Dress from Nordstrom Rack
This may be a favorite look. The coat is on MAJOR SALE, the Stuart Weitzman pumps are on MAJOR SALE (but only in a few sizes left,) and this beautiful Alexia Admor dress is under $70! You’ll want to grab these before they are gone!
