Easter weekend is always so much fun. Spring is in full effect, with warmer temperatures, flowers on full display, and the excitement of the Easter egg hunt! My family does a big Easter egg hunt out in the country followed by your typical family reunion style picnic! Sandwhiches, fruit salad, sweet tea, all the appetizers (including my Pimento Cheese) and desserts you could want. And who doesn’t just love watching the youngsters running around, pure excitement with every single egg they find!

Something else that has unintentionally become part of our Easter family tradition is taking pictures with real live bunnies. Last year when I signed us up to take pictures with real bunnies at Mason Home, I had no idea I would be starting a tradition that would continue on the next year. This is one of my favorite photo shoots of the year…..I mean, who doesn’t love bunnies? The twins love them, I think they are adorable, it’s a win-win!

This year we worked with Megan Schiller to capture these precious moments for us and they turned out perfect. When deciding on what outfits to wear, I started with the dress I knew I wanted Savannah to wear, linked here. I knew the dress I am wearing from Palmer Kate Boutique would coordinate perfectly (sold out, but same styles found here.) And then grabbed a classic white and navy look for Sullivan to make the darker colors pop in my dress.
