Oh Hoppy Day

Last weekend we took the most incredible styled photos with JuJuu Photography! And y’all, this is the second time in the last year something like this has happened. Taking outdoor photos means you are always at the mercy of the weather. Last summer, we took beach photos in Galveston and the weather was so crummy all day long. I kept thinking, “Is it even worth driving all the way to Galveston for pictures?” And kept texting the photographer asking if they were still on, and they turned out AMAZING!

This was a similar situation. If you remember, it was raining Sunday morning. A cold front blew in, it was windy, and just again, crummy. I woke up early, took a shower, got dressed, and messaged the photographer to see if we were still on. There was a tiny part of me that was wishing they would be cancelled because I didn’t sleep well at all and just wanted to relax and be lazy (I know you can relate.) Anyway, I sucked it up, got the twins up and dressed, and we were on our way. And let me tell you, I am so glad we did, because these pictures are ones I will cherish forever. Every time I get a new gallery in from a photographer, I think to myself, “How am I going to ever top these? These are now my NEW favorites!” LOL!

I cannot thank Juliana (JuJuu Photography) enough for these beautiful pictures that I will forever cherish. I am soooo looking forward to our next shoot with Juliana in April at The Oak Atelier! It is going to be so dreamy (and I may or may not have splurged a little on our outfits!) And I cannot leave out the beautiful Mason Home owned by Aileen Rothrock! It is such a beautiful location and a dream of mine to own something like this one day!
