So it’s definitely been a while since my last blog post, and there is good reason why – T and I are expecting TWINS!  Yes, you heard that right – TWINS!  We are so very excited, but also extremely nervous at the same time.  I can’t tell you how much time I’ve spent researching and reaching out to friends and family seeking advice on what in the world to do when the babies come!  Hours and hours and hours…….and I still have no idea what is going to happen when they get here, but I guess that is the feeling that all first time parents have.

In the upcoming weeks, I’ll be giving more information about my pregnancy thus far and interesting things I’m learning along the way.

Side note: Lola Mae and Tex have no idea what is happening in our house right now.  We have started working on the nursery, which means moving their bed (guest bed) out of the nursery into a different bedroom (thanks YaYa, Papa, and T.)  Yes, I came home from work one day and the furniture was moved – it was awesome!  Lola and Tex pretty much just assumed that bedroom was theirs.  Tex was always sprawled out on the bed right under the fan, while Lola was underneath hiding in the tunnels made from storage boxes.  They really have no idea what is about to happen……

Again, T and I are so excited for this new chapter in our lives.  There is so much to do and prepare for, but we are trying to take it day by day!  A little bit here, a little bit there……crossing our fingers we get it all done!  Thanks for following along in this crazy journey 🙂
