Dressing the Bump Part V

Nordstrom Sale

Whose excited for the Nordstrom sale?  It’s one of the biggest sales of the year and you can definitely fill in the gaps in your wardrobe with items purchased during this sale.  This year is obviously going to be a little different for me because I am 29 weeks pregnant.  Actually, to be completely transparent, I feel somewhat weird about it.  I know I’m going to continue to get bigger for the next several weeks until I have the babies, but I have NO FREAKING CLUE what is going to happen after.  Some women drop their baby weight super fast, while for some it takes much longer.  I would like to think as soon as I am cleared from the doctor post-delivery I will start working out again, but between the no sleep thing everyone keeps warning me about, breastfeeding, being responsible for two newborns (and pus), I literally have no clue what my life is going to be like in a couple of months.  Another super concerning thing is what size will my foot be……

The Nordstrom sale, or #NSale as you will see it on social media, is a great opportunity for you to get good deals on their {mostly} fall clothing.  I know, I know – it’s 8,000 degrees right now – why the heck would you want to buy a jacket, or booties, or any other type of cooler weather clothing item?  Because you can, and you can for a discounted price.  Also, if you are like me, right about now, you really start itching for “all things fall” to come around (side note – HEB, which is a local Texas grocery store, already has out fall scented room sprays and candles…….what a tease!)

The way the #NSale works is if you are a cardmember (click here to sign up) you have early access to the sale.  The sale is open to Nordstrom card members between July 12 and 19, and July 20 – August 5 it is open to the public.  Unfortunately, many of the more popular items sell out super quickly during the cardmember time before the public sale even starts – just one reason to sign up for the card.

So, let’s get to it – this version of Dressing the Bump is focusing on items you can purchase during the Nordstrom sale that you can wear starting now and take you into fall.  I’ll be posting more throughout the week about items I’m potentially looking at buying post-pregnancy, but today is focusing on my current status – maternity wear.  Just click the pic below to take you to the Nordstrom website.  Note – the price that shoes below does include the sale price.  You need to be logged in to your Nordstrom account and once you are redirected to their site, you will then see the discounted price.  Enjoy!

Cheers – MP
