Fashion Review | Top 10

The Waterford crystal ball with its 2,688 crystal triangles is ready to go at One Times Square with it’s newly adorned Gift of Goodwill pineapples that symbolize international hospitality. The countdown is ON to a new decade – 2020 – can you believe it? I am having a hard time just realizing how fast this year flew by, let alone, a decade. At the end of anything, it is always good to sit back and reflect. These reviews I’ve published the last few days have really made me sit back and reflect on 2019 – combing through pictures, old blog posts, RewardStyle and ShopStyle, and wow! I won’t get it into all of the remembrances of the year, because you guessed it, I’m sharing that with you first thing tomorrow. So for now, we’ll stick to the top 10 fashion items of the year. This was a hard one, but I was able to narrow it down. Enjoy!

1. x Atlantic-Pacific Bow Detail Fit & Flare Dress

This dress wasn’t planned. It just happened. And when you are as fabulous as this, there is no planning needed. This came across my Instagram feed while I was sitting at a red light one day, and before the light turned green, I had bought it with Nordstrom notes. I’ve completely backed off from making random purchases like that, but I couldn’t pass this one up.

2. HyBrid & Company Womens Casual Work Office Open Front Blazer

The perfect office/dinner/brunch/going to the movies/taking the kids to the park blazer. It’s stretchy, looks like a blazer, feels more like a cardigan and comes in like 100 different colors and size ranges.

3. ECOWISH Elegant Ruffles Cap Sleeves Summer A-Line Midi Dress

Can we start talking Spring and Easter? I wore this dress the day before Easter Sunday at a family gathering and it was perfect. Lightweight, breezy, springy – you know, all the fun April adjectives. And not see through (which is important.)

4. levaca Women’s Short Sleeve Striped Casual Flowy Midi Belt Dress with Pockets

Another dress perfect for spring and summer. It comes in so many different colors and sizes and is light weight and perfect to throw on after the pool 🙂

5. Galmint Jeans

These jeans are so fun. High-waisted and look at those bell bottoms! But, when you go to the Amazon page, there are like 10 different options for fit and color – black, white, dark blue, light blue, ripped, super bell bottoms, more straight leg. They are stretchy and very affordable.

6. Dongpai Women’s Backless Floral Jumpsuit

I kind of forgot about this jumpsuit until I was going back through all of my pictures and analytics from the year. This was actually a top seller, too, from my LiketoKnow.it page. It is so cute with espadrilles and handbag like below – not see through, but you will need to wear stickies because a strapless bra will show in the back.

7. Essence Mule

I wear these in black at least once, maybe twice, a week. It looks like on the Nordstrom website they are sold out of black, and I’m seriously considering ordering this nude color. It will be a perfect look for spring. There is also a really pretty red that would look nice in the new year.

8. Jacquard Boyfriend Blazer for Women

I love my blazer like this! I feel so professional paired with wide leg black pants and belted, and the best part is that it’s comfortable, too, because it’s stretchy material.

9. SLIM TIE WAIST PENCIL PANTS

I have these in both gray and purple. It looks like the Loft website is running low on this color and the purple isn’t there anymore, but they are the perfect pant to either dress up with a nice blouse and heels, or dress it down with a tee and sandals. Either way, people will compliment the heck out of your outfit – I think it has to do with the bow tie. Because a regular cropped pant doesn’t warrant the compliments that these receive.

10. V- Neck Tunic Sweater for Women

This is a 100% favorite of mine that I have worn so many times this fall and winter. I really want to get it in more colors because it is so worth it. It’s the perfect sweater for Houston because it doesn’t get THAT COLD too often, so when it cools down, it’s still lightweight enough so you don’t feel like you are suffocating.

BONUS: Spanx Faux Leather Leggings

Every wardrobe needs a pair of these. I know, I know, not the most exciting bonus item, but we’ll consider it an essential. I instantly feel 10 pounds smaller when I wear these pants – and that is not an exaggeration at all.

Well, if we don’t meet again before the new year, I wish you and yours a very very happy new year filled with peace, prosperity, and happiness.

Cheers – MP
