|The Monday Post| #21 – The May Review
With the new month brings new goals, challenges, and excitement, but to do the month of May justice, I’d like to spend today reviewing and reflecting on the month of May. Here are some of my faves from the month.

One of the most exciting things happened at the very end of May. I applied to rewardStyle years ago when I first started Toast to Post and I am not even sure why I did because I seriously hardly had any content at all. Then, as you know, the blog has been off and on until this year, when I decided to take it seriously for ONE FULL YEAR. So, I’ve been playing with the idea of applying to rewardStyle again, but have read posts that say you need to have all your ducks in a row before applying because if you apply and get denied, it potentially pushes you out even further until you get accepted. So, I was thinking about waiting until the end of the summer, maybe early fall to apply, and for some reason, as I was sitting at my desk one afternoon before leaving for the day, I said, “Why not? The answer will surely be NO if you don’t try.” So I applied, and just a few days later I got an email saying I was accepted! I was ecstatic! Seriously I was so excited 🙂 What this means for you is that you can search me in the LiketoKnow.it app (search ToasttoPostBlog) under influencer search and all of my outfits will be linked right there. Then, you can shop the products right there in the app OR screenshot the pic (in the app) and you will receive an email in your inbox with the product details.

Fave TV Show
Whiskey Cavalier – I started watching Whiskey Cavalier earlier in the month and LOVED it. As a former Scandal fan, it was fun watching Jake, or known as Whiskey in this series, be the sensitive, heart-felt FBI guy paired up with the crazy and intense CIA agent Frankie. The two lead a team of spies on missions around the globe. I was super bummed when I found it the show was not renewed for a second season.
Les Miserables – This 6 part series on PBS was beautifully done to reflect Victor Hugo’s 19th century French historical novel. I loved the gowns and the architecture and watching the story unfold throughout Paris and the rest of France.

Fun Things
We took the babies to the Aquarium in downtown Houston and it was so much fun! They loved watching the fish swim around and even tried following with their fingers on the glass – too cut
The babies were also baptized in May. Thank you to Fr. Michael for welcoming them into the church and for all of our family and friends who attended the ceremony and reception afterwards. A huge thank you to the godparents as well 🙂
