|The Monday Post| #46 – The Blue and White Decor Edit

If quarantine has you feeling blue, just go with it….literally. Blue and white decor is all the rage right now, especially in home decor. I credit this burst of inspo to ginger jars popping up all over the place (think Home Goods, Target, Amazon, etc.) and the ever so lovely and traditional Spode Blue Italian print. The second is seriously what dreams are made of. I’ve spent some of my time at home this week searching for all the blue and white decor to give you the Blue Italian feel without making you blue due to the price tag. Take a look below.

Wall Decor

Not ready to fully commit to going all out blue? Ease in softly with one of these pieces of artwork. A few of these are from Oliver Gal who happens to be one of my favorite art and lifestyle brands and I have several of their pieces in my home. And, I just ordered the SAV piece, because, you know, I can’t pass up anything that reminds me of the twins.

Home Decor

This is where you can get very creative. Decorative vases, jars, rugs, books, throws, and pillows are all perfect accent pieces to go with the blue theme. Add some faux flowers to your blue and white vases for additional springtime cheer.

Kitchen

First of all, the nesting bowls are beautiful and would look perfect just sitting on a kitchen island stacked the way they are in the picture. The stand mixer and Le Creuset pieces are probably more of an investment piece, but look gorg in a bright white kitchen. Other items to add in the blue and white feel are hand towels (I go through these like crazy) and acrylic cups for summertime drinks on the porch.

Bedroom

Paisley prints are so classic, and when done in blue and white, it is such a gorgous look. Not ready to change up your bedding, try a throw or pillow to bring in the blue.

Blue Italian

The classic. OMG I want it all.

Bathroom

Towels and bath mats will help transform this space into a blue and white dream.

Misc.

This light up umbrella is an awesome addition to any backyard pool area. And the coffee table is for those who are serious about blue, but also less than $150, so it’s a win-win.

I am super into all things blue and white right now, and think it is such a classic look. I am definitely using this time at home to really think about each space in my home and how I can improve it to give it a homey feel, but also with my own personal touch. Since I will be spending more time in my home, I want to feel motivated, inspired, and comfortable when in it.

Here’s to having a fabulous week at home, friends! If you didn’t check out last week’s edition of TMP, click here for my work form home tips.
