The November Review
โLove the trees until their leaves fall off, then encourage them to try again next year.โ – Chad Shugg
As the first day of December descends upon us, I am sitting here staring at all of my boxes of Christmas decorations and trying to visualize how to decorate my new house. But enough of that, today is all about giving November it’s last bit of fun. Part of my monthly process is doing an end of month review. I like to see what worked and what didn’t, where Insta showed me love, where my followers showed me love, and what items were the most popular. I also do a purge of pictures on my phone for the previous month – screenshots, multiples, random ceiling or ground shots, etc. It is amazing how many photos and videos end up being deleted – sometimes I’ll delete hundreds of multiples and videos! It’s crazy!

iTouch Wearables – This is an activity tracker that is much more affordable than an apple watch. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and other features include calorie tracker, weather, camera remote, pedometer, sleep monitor, heart rate monitor, and so much more. At $95 (and currently on sale for $59.99,) this watch is the perfect gift for someone special this holiday season โค๏ธ Right now, you can use the code MEAGEN10 to get $10 off your purchase sitewide (think Christmas gifts ๐ for mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, and yes, even kids….because there are kids watches as well.)

2. These acrylic earrings from Target also come in blush pink and black. They are currently buy one, get one 50% off – so stock up on Christmas gifts/stocking stuffers.
3. This mat has been a best seller for a few months in a row now. I actually just replaced my front door mat with a Christmas mat this morning ๐
Books
Audible – The Turn of the Key – give me anything Ruth Ware and I’m happy, especially with Imogen Church narrating. This suspensful, psychological thriller will have you wanting to circle the parking garage to keep listening ๐
Clever Girl Finance – I haven’t started reading this one just yet as it just came in last week. I’ve learned A LOT in the last few months about budgeting and finances, and I’ve found the Clever Girl Finance website helpful, so I figured I’d give the book a try…..couldn’t hurt, could it?
Series Watched
Downton Abbey – I am all about it. I just finished watching the entire series (all 6!) and am obsessed. Watch it on Amazon Prime for free viewing. Disclaimer: it may take a few episodes to get into, but what I found to love about it was getting to know the characters. From the servants to the Crawley family itself, I completely fell in love will this series (and shed a tear when I finished the last episode.)
Jack Ryan Season 2 – How has season 2 come and gone? So much anticipation leading up to its release, and then poof, watched it in 3 days. Do I have to wait another year for more Jack? Please Amazon Prime, say it isn’t so. John Krasinski, aka Jack, is my man crush for sure these days. Not only is he a bada$$, but he is so extremely smart and easy on the eyes ๐
The Crown Season 3 – I am on episode 4 and it has been an adjustment to not having Claire Foye as Queen Elizabeth. I’m giving Olivia Coleman a chance (and I oddly think she looks like Bellamy Young.) As I’ve watched a few episodes now, I have started liking her more. I think this is the common situation we all find ourselves in when the dreaded CHANGE is involved – it takes time to adjust and everyone fears it, but once you give it a chance, you’ll come to adjust to it and it becomes the new normal.
