In Case You Missed It

This week was a super super busy week. I only got one blog post out and have started another one that should go live early next week……and it’s a good one – “Preparing to Return to the Office: The Closet.” It is the first in a series on preparing to return to the office and focuses on things you can do now to help transition back to working in an office environment. I tested these steps last weekend and let’s just say I have three bags full of clothes, shoes, bags, accessories to donate and ended up doing some extra laundry this week along with a list of items I need to add. The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is the perfect time to pick up little gifts or upgrade some of your kitchen items. I love love love this cutting board and think the initial coasters would be a perfect gift!

Tomato, Peach & Burrata Salad

This Tomato, Peach, and Burrata salad from Half Baked Harvest looks AMAZING. It combines some in season favorites with burrata cheese to make this incredibly delicious salad. In fact, I may have found a new site for tasty recipes, like Brown Sugar Peach Shortcakes and Honey Garlic Shrimp, Corn, and Avocado Bacon Salad.

The Fall 2021 Sun House Children’s line was released last week and I am in love. Sun House Children’s brings vintage patterns and traditional design to children’s clothing for a sophisticated, but playful, look. I even ordered Savannah a set just like Sullivan’s because I think it is adorable and love the Autumn Plaid print!

I’m sharing everything that comes in from my various Nordstrom Sale orders in both stories and posting some to my feed, like these two dresses I bought for work and these Vince Camuto heels. I am sad to report that this the first time Vince has let me down 🙁 The top strap is way too big and that combined with an extremely narrow foot left it gapping and did not look polished at all.
