As the year is coming to a close, I’m sharing my top 10 beauty products of the year. Remember, skincare is something you have to work at – it doesn’t just happen, especially as we get older. Moisturize, cleanse, treat, prevent, and brighten are all words you want to hear when speaking of skincare. I am no expert by any means, but one of the things I love about blogging is getting to try new things and share them with you. These are my top 10 for the year – enjoy!

This powerful, deep-cleansing balm that dissolves makeup, daily grime and pollutants, intensely cleansing, nourishing and renewing skin came into my life earlier in the fall, and I am now obsessed. Because you use a small pea size amount, this container will last you a very long time.

4. Benefit They’re Real! Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara

This is a lengthening mascara that curls, volumizes, lifts and separates lashes. It is THE BEST MASCARA I have ever tried in my entire life. But, as a word of advice, make sure to use a legit make up remover when removing because it is hard to get off. Not as hard as waterproof mascara, but close, but so worth it.

5. Erno Laszlo Timeless Skin Serum

This breakthrough serum is a daily source of targeted nutrients for maturing skin. 6. Foundation: Splurge – Chanel; Affordable – Maybelline

Both are full coverage, long lasting, and glide on smoothly. Both have great coverage that doesn’t look cakey or make you look old. There is something about the Chanel that makes it appear to have a slightly smoother finish; however, you cannot beat the price of the Maybelline. My recommendation would be to buy both 🙂 and wear the Chanel for important events and the Maybelline for every day.

7. Eau Thermale Avene Cicalfate Restorative Skin Cream

I kind of forgot about this one. I wore it A LOT at the beginning of the year. I was torn on whether or not to share this again, because I am still torn on how I feel about it. It kind of leaves a greasy feel to my face, almost like a sunscreen, and some of the grease would migrate into my hair making it look a little greasy at times, BUT the product as a moisturizer worked miraculously on my face. If only I could find a way to keep it out of my hair….I only wore it at night, and by morning it wasn’t greasy anymore. This was recommendation by Kathleen Jennings.

8. Billie Razor

To be completely honest, this razor is just as good as any razor you can buy from the store. It doesn’t have any sort of magical powers that keep the hair on your legs from growing back any slower, but it is cheaper and is delivered to your door step, making it a huge WIN in my book. Oh, and it sticks to your shower wall and doesn’t fall off. I even moved, and restuck it on the wall, and it is still there. Oh, and you get to choose a cool, fun color!

9. Fanola No Yellow Shampoo

For all you blondies out there – this purple shampoo helps tone down any sort of brassiness and keeps your blonde poppin’! Use once a week – or if you are like me and only wash your hair twice a week, use every three to four times. If you use it too much, your hair will start to look purple.

10. Deluxe Collagen Eye Mask Collagen Pads For Women 

The number one affordable eye patch. Brightening, fights puffiness and tired under eyes, dark circles, and wrinkles and at this price, you can buy them and keep them in your bathroom, travel kit, parents’ house, boyfriends’ house, give them as gifts, etc.
