Favorite Look of the Month

Working from home for 6 months will turn one into a t-shirt and jeans girl. Thank goodness I stocked up on my favorite Caslon t-shirt and relaxed fit jeans during the Nordstrom sale!

Favorite Song of the Month

“You’re Welcome” by Dwayne Johnson from Moana. I think it’s the cutest little song that we listen to in the car and it’s totally appropriate for the twins…..and I am still working on learning the “rap” part 🙂

Audible Books

I finished The Death of Mrs. Westaway by Ruth Ware and started The City Baker’s Guide to Country Living by Louise Miller.

I am a huge Ruth Ware fan, especially when narrated by Imogen Church and this book did not disappoint. In classic Ruth Ware suspenseful style, it left me wanting more and more and trying to piece the puzzle together throughout the entire book!

Louise Miller has a way of writing that is calming and leaves you feeling happy. Her small town stories leave you dreaming about Vermont in the fall, love, and in this particular book, baking (which she herself is a baker!)

Series Watched

Y’all. This is kind of embarrassing. I watched the entire seven seasons of Chicago PD. I started in June, and it took me until the end of August to finish. But it is so good. I’m convinced there should be a spin off show of Chicago PD, Med, and Fire that is literally just about their personal lives…because let me tell you, they are all intertwined!

And….I am almost finished with Season 1 of The Gilmore Girls. I want to watch/rewatch them all including the Netflix release of A Year in the Life – which was shot almost a decade after the finale.
