First of all, Happy Monday! I wanted to share some exciting news with you – I’m officially part of the Amazon influencer program – which means MANY of the items I post about from here on out will be from Amazon. It became extremely apparent to me when I created my baby registry last year that people love shopping at Amazon (can’t beat 2 day shipping, free returns, etc. for Prime items.) I wasn’t exactly sure how to split my registry list, so I did approximately 50/50 between Amazon and buybuyBABY. Week after week I would have to move items from the buybuyBABY registry over to my Amazon registry because it kept selling out. I have used ShopStyle as my affiliate program for a while now, and will continue to do so. You all know I’m a big Loft, Nordstrom, J. Crew, etc. girl, so I will continue to use ShopStyle to share those items with you.

If you are reading this and wondering what in the heck I am talking about, I’ll explain really quickly. Being part of an affiliate program leads you to generate dollars for every click and/or purchase made through that program. For example, on ShopStyle, every click earns me a whopping $.05. Yep, you read that right – five cents.

With Easter right around the corner, I am so excited to share with you my Easter faves where every item is available via Amazon. All you have to do is click on the picture, and it will take you directly to your Amazon account to shop the product. I’m still learning the new system and not thrilled about the formatting, but hopefully in the near future I’ll be able to create a widget (group of products) as opposed to individually listed (not-centered….ugh) products. Although this does somewhat mimic an advertising style, it is not advertising. I have decided not to turn on advertising on Toast to Post because quite frankly, I do not like the way it looks. Like I said, I’m still working on the formatting, but because I only work on the blog when the babies are napping or after they go to sleep, I’m dealing with limited time.
