|The Monday Post| #69

…..on a Tuesday, because life 😉

Do you ever have a weekend where you feel like you look up and it’s Sunday evening and you wonder, “What in the heck did we do all weekend?” That seemed to be this weekend for us. Although, when I look back on it, I realize we did a lot – backyard picnic on Friday afternoon, made Peeps Rice Krispie pops on Saturday, bunny pictures Sunday morning, and afternoon playtime and dinner with Lindly’s family on Sunday evening. I did get a few loads of laundry done……AND even folded and put up – so that in itself is a huge win!

Anyway, I typically write this post Sunday afternoon/evening, but this weekend Lindly invited us over for playtime and dinner on Sunday, so we spent the evening there and by the time we got home, I spent the rest of my evening picking up the house because I do NOT like to start the week off with chaos. Monday mornings are so much smoother and calmer when things are organized, so I opted to do that Sunday night instead of writing this post……which leaves this post being published on a Tuesday morning instead of Monday.

With all that said, here are the things that are on my mind for the week!

What to Bring to Easter Lunch

When grandma tells you to bring a “side” to Easter lunch this weekend, you’ll want to add this recipe to your short list of ideas. A classic Southern crunchy salad with a little bit of sweetness and tang, it is sure to wow your family (even if your cooking skills are subpar.) Bonus points if you use the crystal bowl you received as a wedding gift that typically just sits pretty in the china cabinet.

Easter Fun

Sure, the kids can have a lot of fun this weekend, but who says the adults can’t as well? Here are 13 fun games for adults that actually would be a lot of fun at any point throughout the year. You’ll want to Pin this one for later (as I did.) Click here to read the article from BHG.com.

Bunnicorn

This would be the cutest addition to any Easter basket. Bunnicorn is the cutest little (well, technically oversized) book found at Target for only $5. Bunnicorn can do pretty much everything, except make a pretty rainbow! With it’s bright and colorful illustrations and appearances by friends such as the Dolphicorn, Slothicorn, and Pandacorn, Bunnicorn learns how we are all unique in our own ways and is the perfect book to read with the little ones.

For the Kitchen

If you follow along in Instagram Stories, you might recognize this product collage from over the weekend. I just had to share it again because these items are absolutely adorable! Not only perfect for Easter, but Spring in general. In fact, I need to order myself the bundt pan so I won’t have to borrow Lindly’s every time I bake something that requires one….lol.

Spring Target Dress Try On

Target has legit stepped up their game when it comes to Women’s fashion….specifically dresses. These are some of my faves that I recently found at Target. Make sure to follow my LiketoKnow.it page because I do share a lot more in the app than I do here.

Well, friends, that is all for now. Make sure to follow along in Insta Stories for more of the day to day action. I share everything from quick and healthy food ideas, fun activities with the twins, ootd, SALES, and lots of fun product collages (which are quickly becoming one of my favorite things to make!) Have a beautiful week!

Cheers – MP
