It is a rainy Saturday morning here in the Houston area and I’m not mad about it. I feel like the last several weeks have been go go go and it’s kind of nice to just wake up and not rush off to the next thing (or have to log into work 🙂 ) I was supposed to go to an event at Piney Rose Floral that I actually was really excited for but it has been postponed until May 22 because of the weather. I guess that means I’m left to do my originally scheduled activity for the day >> cleaning the playroom. Send coffee!

Today is also Derby Day! Which for us here is really just a reason to get together and eat fun food and drink mint julips. FYI, I’m not a bourbon drinker….at all. Like at all at all! But, I appreciate a themed drink and will indulge in one later this evening and will use this recipe from the official Kentucky Derby website. Stay tuned!

Zulily Finds

I really do love shopping on Zulily; however, it takes time to find the “gems.” I kind of think of it as the equivalent of going into a Home Goods or TJ Maxx where it is just product overload, and you have to pick through to find what you like. Here are some of my finds from today. BTW, that chalk board is also a dry erase board. And did you see the coffee table? It’s under $200 🙂

Gap Friends & Family

I’m still a little bitter about my last package from Gap being lost; however, the ONLY reason why I will continue to share products from Gap is because of the great customer service I received from Gap. And I still get super nervous when I order something online and it says it is shipping USPS.
