Is it really already Memorial Day? I’m seeing “last day of school” posts left and right and really had to question how is it already possible? Because summer has really been on my mind lately, I’m sharing 5 items you need for summer. Check it out below.

2. Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Face Moisturizer with Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen and Soy Extract, 4 fl. oz

Sun protection is a MUST. As we learn more and more about the harmful effects of the sun on our bodies, I cannot stress enough how important sunscreen is. I literally wear this moisturizer every single day under my make up – even when I know I’m just going to be sitting in the office all day long. My dermatologist always praises me for taking good care of my face when it comes to sun, so I have to give some of the credit to this moisturizer. I do, however, put on something much stronger than spf 15 when I know I’m going to be out in the sun – pool day, boat day, etc. But, this moisturizer is the perfect starting point and sits quite nicely under make up.

3. A Hat

I guess sun protection is really on my mind these days. Sunscreen and spf will do a LOT to help you fight the harmful rays of the sun, but the only way to completely block them is to actually block them – with a super cute hat such as one of these. Big floppy hats offer soooo much protection, not only for you face, but neck, ears, shoulders, chest, etc. And, when they are this cute, I mean why not?
