|The Monday Post| #67
Everyone on Spring Break this week is Savannah in this pic! Whether you are going on vacation, doing a staycation, or just excited to sleep in and stay in pj’s for most of the day. We are headed down to the bay today and I am so excited to get out of town. The twins will get to play with their cousins (well, my cousins’ kids….so second cousins?) and I think that is what I am most excited for! So many of my childhood memories are from being at the bay with my cousins, and now getting to watch our kids grow up there playing together is just so fun!
Here are the things that are on my mind for the week…..enjoy and have a beautiful week! I sure am hoping to get to see some sunsets at the bay – they are always so gorgeous (when the weather cooperates!)
Central Market Sicilian Lemon Organic Italian Soda
I’m pretty much a water, coffee, and wine kind of gal. I might be one of those weird people who actually enjoys drinking water and doesn’t have a problem drinking it room temp out of the sink 🙂 I know, I know……I told you, weird. I’ll drink sparkling soda here and there, but typically just stick to plain old water. Last week I ran into HEB to buy distilled water for my steamer, and oddly enough HEB was out of distilled water. While I was on the water aisle, this Italian sparkling soda caught my eye. And O-M-G it is so good! It is the perfect combination of sweet, lemon, and a tad bit of carbonation. Last week at dinner, I poured a little bit into a champagne coupe and felt so fancy (while eating mac-n-cheese among other things.) Anyways, just wanted to share with y’all because I love it so much!
Right now it is 2 for $4.12 at HEB. Each bottle contains approximately 2 servings, but I spread the bottle out throughout the week (cuts down on the calorie intake per day as well.)
Amazon Swim
Yesterday in stories I shared a quick Amazon swim try on. I also included this Lilly Pulitzer swimmy I bought during the big sale in January, but can’t seem to find it on the website now…..typical. I absolutely love this sarong and it comes in several different colors as well. You can check out my stories here. They are also saved to my Amazon Try On Favorites.
On the Menu
Easter will be here before you know it, and once it is over, all the Peeps will disappear. Make sure to grab your Peeps now. Actually, grab both your Peeps and your Rice Krispies now. Last year I’m pretty sure Target ran out of Rice Krispies the week of Easter when I wanted to make these. I plan on making these this week at some point.
Click here for instructions on how to make them.
Lemon Cupcakes
I would also recommend adding these to your to-bake list. They are amazing and I even made my own buttercream icing (which is actually very easy!) I topped them with Fancy Sprinkles Prism Powder. Use code MEAGAN15 for 15% off!
That is all for now. Have a great week and make sure to follow along on Instagram for more on our Bay Adventures this week! Happy Spring Break!
Cheers – MP
